Rochelle Ikin is a conceptual artist based in Cheshire, England. Her practice is often influenced by personal experience, poetry and social issues, many elements within her work carry personal meaning.

She often blends figurative painting with experimental textiles.  The stitches in her paintings act as fractures based on doorways and interiors. She is interested in how a door can act as both a barrier and a passageway.
